Aquaman Redesign

My redesign of Arthur Curry for Project: Rooftop's Sea Change contest. Placed Tenth. W00t!

With this I just tried to remain as faithful to the classic look as possible while throwing in some little twists, and a really big A. The center "eye" of the A was inspired by pacific northwest tribal art and implies an all seeing eye of the King. The hood was meant to evoke medieval chain hoods, and improve on his streamlining. His harpoon was inspired by the old hook hand, which in turn inspired the Captain Ahab beard. Judge Tim of P:R, he no like the Chin Beard. But see there is another Justice Leaguer with a blond beard and mustaches. His name is Oliver Queen. I gave Orin the "Ahab" so that he could have a beard he could call his own. I also loved the idea of taking a famous fisherman look, and giving it to a fishy-man. That makes him the Anti-Gordon of Glouster.

Judge Rachel says that the hood looks like he pulled his shirt over his head. For this, I have no defense. "CORNHOOLIO!"

Awesome Aquaman redesign, I love the chain-mail, knight style head covering he has.

Man, love this redesign!
Looks like the suit makes him a lot faster under water.
Great work!
